Let’s tidy up Black Friday!

Where did the idea come from?

We do not want to encourage excessive shopping and we advise our customers to gather their outdoor equipment wisely, so that it will last for many years in very different conditions. Although we try to reduce the negative impact of our production, every new product is always an additional burden on the environment. That is why we decided to use the already made products that we had in our warehouse. These were mainly custom-made sleeping bags, which due to their modifications could not be included in our regular offer, but also prototypes of clothing, some of which were completely unique.

What was the effect?

The interest in our event was so huge that all 70 products exhibited were bought in less than 2 hours after the start of the sale!

We absolutely did not expect such a huge response. We are very pleased, although we know that there were far more people interested than products for sale. It looks like we will need to come up with something new again next year. Thanks to our event, we have collected over 8 300 EUR, which we have donated to EOCA (European Outdoor Conservation Association). This is really great news!

Our garage sale event was aimed at helping to protect wilderness areas. All the profits were donated to EOCA to support the “Stop the ALPs becoming Plastic Mountains” project:

The purpose is to protect the high mountain areas of the Alps, one of the last unspoiled environments in southern Europe. They are home to many unique animals, flowers and other plants. Strategies to eliminate the use of disposable plastic items will be developed together with 4 very different alpine shelters. The project also involves the cleaning of over 150 km of trails, including lake shores and alpine meadows. The project also includes training with the participation of tourist and mountaineering guides, park employees, local schools, and the development of an application to encourage people to continue cleaning.
