Description

Plancklite is a minimalistic down pullover that brings the term "ultra-light" to a completely new level. Ideally suited for activities where the low weight of the equipment is of key importance - whether it’s fast trekking, extended thru-hikes, or as a backup layer during ultramarathons.

Plancklite has the best possible thermal insulation-to-weight ratio. It is made of the lightest fabric we have: the innovative 0.0594 oz/yd² Japanese CAC™ fabric. To reduce the weight, it has been filled with Polish goose down with an exceptional 900 FP! Thoughtfully streamlined, it features snap closures in place of a zipper and a clean, pocket-free silhouette to reduce bulk and maximize utility. The elastic finish of the cuffs and hips ensure freedom of movement and protection against low temperatures, and the stand-up collar effectively insulates your neck from cold and wind. The standard cut offers flexibility for layering, making it easy to combine with base or mid-layers for added comfort.

Whether you’re using it as a key insulating layer in spring and summer or pairing it under a heavier jacket in winter, Plancklite ensures reliable warmth and adaptability for every adventure.

Made in Poland

All Cumulus® products are proudly crafted in Poland, allowing us to maintain the highest quality standards while minimizing our carbon footprint. Responsible production is at the core of everything we do. For us, sustainability also means ensuring fair working conditions. Our dedicated team is the true secret behind the excellence of our products.

1% for the Planet

By choosing our products, you’re giving back! We donate 1% of our sales to organizations like the European Outdoor Conservation Association, which leads initiatives to protect biodiversity and preserve natural habitats, and the Wetland Conservation Center, dedicated to safeguarding swamps and restoring drained wetlands to their natural state.

Down

Years of breeding experience, a specific climate and research facilities are the secrets behind the excellent parameters of Polish down, which is considered to be the best in the world. Despite technological advancement and attempts to make artificial insulation that would be just as reliable, down still remains unrivaled.

Ethical sourcing

We only use down from certified Polish producers. Thanks to their geographical proximity, we can monitor the production. We are absolutely sure down used by Cumulus has been ethically sourced. It is from free-range geese that have access to water. The excellent breeding conditions are also reflected in the down’s high quality.

Fabrics

Pertex® and Toray®, two fabrics we commonly use in our products, are made in Japan. Renowned in the outdoor world, they are both high-performers and have an impressive resilience considering their lightweight structure. At 19g/m2 Toray Airtastic® is the lightest downproof fabric in the world.
