Vencer series sleeping bags have been designed for performance athletes who make no compromise and prioritize the lowest weight of equipment and fastest moving speed possible. Vencer 200 is an ultra-light, shortened sleeping bag, providing thermal insulation from the waist down. In this concept, the insulation of the upper parts of the body is ensured by clothes, especially by a down jacket, that you always have with you, to protect yourself from getting cold after a day’s effort. Here our Mountlite and Neolite Endurance jackets will be a perfect match. To increase the sleeping bag’s resistance to moisture, waterproof Pertex® Quantum Pro fabric has been used on the outside. From the waist to the neck, the Vencer 200 has the so-called ‘apron’ made of one layer of fabric, which prevents snow or sand from getting in between the sleeping bag and the jacket, and also protects against the wind. This sleeping bag has drawstrings at the waist and neck to prevent it from sliding while sleeping. With 7.05 oz of down, the H-chambers are an optimal solution; minimalist, but preventing the formation of cold spots. Vencer 200 will be an essential part of equipment for ambitious, fast-paced trips in the snow in the mountains, and for overnight stays on multi-rope climbing routes. It will also be suitable for both running and cycling ultra-marathons, in spring and autumn conditions, and as an emergency sleeping bag, which you can carry just in case, putting as little weight on your backpack as possible.
