It may not look like it, but make no mistake: the NeoLoft is a true backpacking sleeping pad. From the inside out, every element has been designed to deliver exceptional comfort while keeping the pad remarkably light and packable. Its 3D construction creates a generous thickness of 11.7 cm, making the NeoLoft an excellent choice for side sleepers. Vertical sidewalls connect the upper and lower fabrics, eliminating the tapered edges found on conventional non-3D sleeping pads. This increases the usable sleeping surface by 20% and provides excellent stability, helping you feel secure while changing position during the night.

The NeoLoft’s surface is made from a plush stretch-knit fabric, making it the first air sleeping pad to use this type of material. Similar to the fabric used in base layers, the stretch knit offers multidirectional elasticity and feels significantly softer than the nylon commonly used in backpacking sleeping pads. Its flexible properties improve contouring support and help reduce pressure points by adapting locally to the shape of the body.

Inside, the ContourCore Matrix™ provides the insulation required for backcountry use. Two stacked layers of triangular chambers minimise convective heat loss, while ThermaCapture™ technology reflects body heat back towards the sleeper. Together, these technologies provide a versatile, year-round R-value of 4.7. Large chambers integrated along the sides rise to create supportive rails when the pad is inflated. These rails provide a tactile indication of the pad’s edges and gently guide the sleeper towards the centre, helping prevent accidental roll-offs.

The NeoLoft is equipped with the high-volume TwinLock™ Valve System. A dedicated one-way “In” valve enables fast inflation, while a separate “Out” valve allows the pad to deflate quickly. Paired with the included high-volume, seam-sealed pump sack, the NeoLoft can be inflated, deflated and packed away quickly and efficiently.
